The romance comedy Music and Lyrics will be screened by M-Net on August 3 at 20h00. Directed by Marc Lawrence, it stars Hugh Grant, Drew Barrymore, Brad Garrett and Campbell Scott.

Alex is a once famous pop singer/composer who now ekes out a living by singing at fairs, reunions and mall openings. Things start looking up when pop diva Cora Corman asks him to write a love song that they will perform together in an upcoming concert. There’s only one snag: Alex is no good at writing lyrics, and he only has a week to deliver. When he discovers that his plant lady Sophie, who is recovering from a disastrous love affair, has a way with words, he asks her to help him. Soon Alex and Sophie are making beautiful music together, but how will Sophie react when Alex gives Cora carte blanche to change her lyrics?
