The Pietermaritzburg-based University Film Club’s second semester programme continues with Ashes of Time directed by Wong Kar-Wai (1994, Hong Kong). The film, using the martial arts genre for its own ends, meditates on conflict and chivalry, love and loss.

It will be shown on August 21 at 18h00 in the CVA lecture theatre in Ridge Road. Membership: R100 all films this semester; individual viewings R15 (R10 for students). (Safe parking through the double gate above the CVA in Ridge Road).
