Faust and Furious by Anne Lee is a humorous reworking of the Faust story in which a factory worker, John Faust, signs away his soul to Miss M, manageress of the Body and Soul Nightclub.

This fun production has stereotype characters, a crazy plot and has been staged with the youth and the “young-at-heart” in mind. The cast of 30 (including ladies from Durban Girls’ College and Crawford La Lucia) deliver energetic performances and they are supported by a vibrant soundtrack and effective lighting.

For an hour and a half’s escapism, then this is the show to see!
