After four and half years living in the “cold city of Seattle”, Washington, Pertulia Ramaphala is back home. Now married with a young son, she is currently residing in Gordon's Bay in Cape Town while working on her research with the University of Stellenbosch.

“While abroad I had the pleasure of working with different theatre companies,” explains Pertulia who is a former manager of the Kwasuka Theatre. “Most of these companies were run by women who used different approaches to make their productions or companies unique. My experience with women in theatre inspired me to further my studies and equip myself with necessary tools for the adventure lying ahead.”
