Aldo Brincat was hysterically funny in his one man silent comedy.

The rain and the empty seats at the Catalina Theatre on September 26 did not put a damper on his Moron Than Off show. Audience participation combined with gut-filled laughter made the hour long performance a success.

Aldo Brincat is a clown with a difference. No big red nose or big clown shoes were needed to make you laugh. The show started with a hand saw slowly appearing from behind the curtain. Next Aldo appeared, clad in a grey overcoat, grey pants, one black sock and one yellow glove on the other foot. His facial expressions and mimicry however, did appear to frighten the teeny tots in the audience. They cried and hid their faces as he got closer to them! He slowly changed their fears to amazement and laughter with his wacky routine. The hand puppets and spaghetti-eating from the dog food can, old boot and from the floor, soon got the kids roaring with laughter.

The hand saw combined with a bow and whistle was turned into a musical instrument with Aldo playing Strangers in the Night accompanied by the audience on vocals.

Moron Than Off is silent comedy at its best and it is suitable for the entire family.
